CelebPoker announces four new tournaments

CelebPoker announced there will be four new tournaments around the globe added to their fall 2006 tournament schedule.

Players have the potential to win a seat in the World Speed Championship, Austrian Classics, Barcelona Open or Mediterranean Poker Cruise.


The first event players will be vying for a seat in is the World Speed Championship that takes place in London. Satellites are currently running, which give entry into one of two online finals taking place July 30 and Aug. 20 at 5:30 p.m. (GMT). The final prize is a $5,000 prize package that includes the £2,000 buy-in for the tournament as well as about $1,200 for hotel accommodations.

Next up is the Austrian Classics which take place at the Concord Card Casino in Vienna, Austria, Sept. 28. Satellites are running for eight weeks for the online finals taking place Aug. 20 and Sept. 17 at 5:30 p.m. (GMT). The $5,700 prize package for winner will include €3,300 for the buy-in as well as money for accommodations and travel.

The Barcelona Open Main Event will take place Sept. 13 to 16, and CelebPoker has a prize package worth $8,000 for a lucky player to be able to play in it. The package includes the €5,000 buy-in as well as money for accommodations.

Last but not least is the Poker Cruise taking place Oct. 14 through 21, where players will sail around the Mediterranean for eight days while playing a No-Limit Hold'em tournament. CelebPoker players can enter a satellite for as little as $6 for their chance to win this trip.

The $6,000 Poker Cruise prize package includes the €1,100 for the No-Limit Hold'em tournament as well as €770 for a Limit Hold'em event. The winner will also receive $1,000 travel and spending money and accommodations for two people with a balcony.
