Shannon Elizabeth admits poker addiction

Shannon Elizabeth is owning up to her addiction to poker and admits she's been spending a lot of time in Las Vegas lately to play with some of poker's top players.

"I've become addicted to poker. I'm in Las Vegas two or three times a month these days, playing every other night sometimes," Elizabeth said. "Poker has become my second career."

Elizabeth is certainly no stranger to poker as she's played in several tournaments and can often be seen at charity poker events. In January, she came in 6th during the W Las Vegas Poker Invitational in Park City, Utah, and she also was the winner of the Nicky Hilton New Years Eve Poker Tournament at Ceasars Palace.

She also played in several 2005 World Series of Poker events including the Main Event, and has been playing this year as well, making it into the second day of the 2006 WSOP Ladies Event but not quite making it into the money.

Soon fans will also be able to see her in the movie "Deal" which just wrapped up filming in New Orleans and features Burt Reynolds as a veteran poker champion who returns to the game to coach a talented newcomer.
