Poker arcade robbed by three gunmen

A poker arcade and store in Fina Sisu in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) was robbed early Monday morning by three armed and masked robbers. They got away with less than $500 in cash.

All three suspects were wearing dark jumpsuits and ski masks when they entered Fina Sisu Poker and Market. One positioned himself at the entrance of the establishment, while a second gunman held the cashier at gunpoint and the third stole the money from the cash register.

According to what the cashier told the police, she was sitting in the cashier's both at the time of the robbery. She said she started to scream when two of the robbers, one carrying a handgun and the other a rifle, forcefully entered the booth. She said the suspect carrying the handgun grabbed her by the neck, pointed the weapon at her and ordered her to stop screaming while his accomplice emptied the cash register.

There was a poker player in the poker room at the time who tried to come to the cashier's aid. As he tried to leave the poker room, however, the gunman standing in the main entrance pointed his rifle at the player, who then just stayed in the poker room.

The robbery is still under investigation.
