Jeff Tebben wins Event #24
After five long days and 3,288 eliminations, Jeff Tebben was the last player standing in the $1,000 No Limit Hold’em Event #24 of the 2010 WSOP. For his victory Tebben wins more than a half million dollars and his first gold bracelet.
This event was one of just a few that will have two Day 1s, due to the amount of players that entered the tournament. The first Day 1 had 2300 players with the remaining 1,931 entrants starting their game on Day 1B. Plenty of notable players were seen on both days including Hevad Khan and Tiffany Michele who sat side by side at the start of the game. Other notable players were Jerry Yang, Matt Affleck and Tom McEvoy.
