PokerStars Caribbean Adventure update

The 2010 edition of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure has made history. With 1,529 players entered it is the largest year so far. A Brazilian player, Anibal Tacla, led the Day 1B chip finishers. Tacla is from the same hometown, Curitiba, Brazil as Team PokerStars Pro Alexandre Gomes.

Tacla, who owns a shopping mall, finished the day with 166,000 chips but is still not near the chip stack as the overall leader Wayne Bentley. Bentley amassed 329,500 chips in the first day of play. The total prize pool for the PCA is about $15 Million. Last years event had 1,347 entrants and the top prize was $3 Million. Rumor has it that this years top place finisher will take home almost $5 Million.
