February 10th will start FTOPS

The 2010 Full Tilt Poker Series (FTOPS) will be starting on February 10th and will have 27 events. The series debuted 4 years ago with only 8 events and $1 Million in total prizes.

Last year’s series awarded more than $16 Million and this year’s series could award more than $17 Million.

This year the series will include Knock Outs, Shootouts, and Turbo games with each event being hosted by one of the Full Tilt Pro team members.

Players will not only win money this year. All players making it to a final table at the FTOPS XV will win a limited edition FTOPS jacket. Winning players will also receive a gold FTOPS jersey and a gold jersey avatar on Full Tilt.

The top player on the FTOPS XV leaderboard will also win a custom avatar and a prize package worth $8,500. That price package will include entries to the next season’s FTOPS.

The Mini FTOPS starts in March and has 27 similar events but they cost a lot less. There is still big money to be won as well, over $6 million dollars.
