Poker After Dark’s Sixth Season to Air on NBC

NBC will begin to air the 6th season of the popular poker TV show, Poker After Dark beginning tonight. The first episode which will air is the start of ‘Commentators Week III’. Six contests will each put up $20,000 in the winner take all event. Participants include Gabe Kaplan, Joe Sebok, Kara Scott, Oliver Nejad and Howard Lederer.

Lederer comes to the game with the most tournament experience of all the commentators, with almost $5.6 Million in live tournament winnings and wins in three of the six Poker After Dark events he has played. He won the first ‘Commentator’s Match’ of PAD.

Another winner from the Commentators Match, Mark Gregorich will also be playing as well as Gabe Kaplan who has won twice. Joe Sebok will take some time off from his ‘Poker2Nite’ hosting to play in the match, making this his debut on PAD. High Stakes Poker hostess Kara Scott is also making her PAD debut tonight.

The final commentator hoping to triumph over his fellow analyst, is the commentator voice of PAD itself, Oliver Nejad, who will be hoping that his third appearance on the show will be his lucky one.
