Another Full Tilt Online Poker Series started – Season XIII

The live poker circuit has quieted down a bit since the final table was named at the World Series of Poker, but the online poker world is heating up with some action at the Full Tilt Online Poker Series – FTOPS XII.

The series was started yesterday with a $216 No Limit Hold’em game hosted by Vitaly Lunkin, two time bracelet winner. There will be a total of 25 scheduled events over the next two weeks with more than $14 Million in prizes guaranteed.

In addition to the series, Academy Award-nominated actor and amateur poker player Don Cheadle will host the FTOPS Ante Up For Africa charity tournament. The $100 buy-in event will feature a $20 entry fee, which Full Tilt will then donate to help ease the humanitarian crisis in Darfur.

The charity was co-founded by Cheadle in 2007 and has since raised more than $1 million for the cause.

Full Tilt Poker is also throwing in incentives for those who excel throughout the series. Every player who makes a tournament final table will receive a limited-edition FTOPS jacket. Players who are fortunate enough to take down an event will also get a gold FTOPS jersey, along with a gold jersey avatar to proudly display while playing on the site. The player who tops the FTOPS XIII leader board will receive a custom Full Tilt avatar of their likeness and a special prize package that includes buy-ins to every FTOPS XIV event, except for the two-day tournament. The prize package is worth approximately $7,500 in entries. Here’s a look at the FTOPS XIII schedule:
