Team PokerStars adds Marcel Luske and Jason Mercier

Two more accomplished poker pros have joined the ranks of the pros at PokerStars. Marcel Luske and Jason Mercier have joined the team and are now part of the most prestigious poker pro team in the world.

Luske has been around the tournament poker scene for quite a while now and the Dutchman is one of the most respected players in the game. In January 2003 he gave up his day job to play poker. Luske has had several appearances on televised poker shows including Late Night Poker, the European Poker Tour and World Series of Poker events. He has also had cashes in several events including a 2004 WSOP event in which he finished second to Joe Awada. He has mentored several poker players including Kirill Gerasimov and David Williams. Luske has won the European Poker Awards Player of the year in both 2001 and 2004.

Jason Mercier has also joined the team having quite a few cashes at European Poker Tour events, including his win at the EPT San Remo in Season 4. After that he was the EPT London’s High Roller Event after taking down a final table that included David Benyamine, Scotty Nguyen, John Juanda and Isabelle Mercier. He recently won a WSOP bracelet in the $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha event.
