Maxim magazine insert to feature Clonie Gowen

Just in time for the World Series of Poker (WSOP), Maxim magazine's July issue will include a WSOP insert featuring a cover shot of poker pro Clonie Gowen.

The issue with the "Guide to the World Series of Poker" hit stands today and will also have a two-page spread of Gowen, who is a member of Team Full Tilt.

Gowen represents the online gaming site and plays poker several hours a week in its poker rooms, helping online amateurs improve their game by offering tips through real-time chats at the tables. She is joined by 31 other top players at Full Tilt, including Howard Lederer, Phil Gordon, Jennifer Harman, Phil Ivey, Erik Seidel, Andy Bloch, Mike Matusow, Huck Seed, Chris Ferguson, and John Juanda, among others.

Well known for her good looks and poker skills, Gowen is also praised for her support of various charities. On Wednesday during a broadcast of Fox Sports Network's "Best Damn Sports Show Period," she challenged Paris Hilton to a $100,000 charity poker tournament.

"Paris seems to be a great girl, however, she represents everything that I am not, but now that she has stepped into my world (the poker world), I challenge her to put her poker skills to work for charity. $100,000 will go a long way to helping those in need. Paris, are you in?" Gowen said.

The winner of the tournament will receive $100,000 that was put up by Full Tilt Poker to award to the charity of their choice.
