Va Shon Watkins wins FTOPS XI Event #4
The fourth event of this years Full Tilt Online Poker Series drew a full crowd. With 729 players putting up $322 for the No Limit Hold’em Triple Shootout, it was Va Shon ‘Julian Verse’ Watkins who took top honors. Watkins won last years Main Event at the FTOPS.
The nine players who made it to the final table were:

Each of the final nine players started with 243,000 in chips and the first player to be eliminated was Thin_Hamster after his bluff was called by jolly001, who hand was trip jacks. He later was eliminated by Sentin. Thin_Hamster received $2,952 for coming in 9th place. A few hands later it was Sentin who went out, once again against jolly001. He received $4,155 for finishing in eighth place.
And even though it was Sentin that took out the first two players from the final table, he went out in 7th place receiving $6,124 in prize money. Just a few hands later it was scrapper41 who was sent to the rail with $8,798 in winnings. PeachyMer was the next player to be eliminated after his pocket nines couldn’t hold up to the AK held by ClockWyze. PeachyMer collected $12,029 for fifth place.
Lauraj111 then fell to ClockWyze as she held A10 to his pocket queens. She received $16,403 for her 4th place finish. Next to leave was Donivan31, who took home $21,780.
As heads up action began, Watkins held the about 65% of the remaining chips against ClockWyze. And just a few hands into the action, ClockWyze had all his chips in the pot. He held pocket nines to Watkin’s AJ. A ace fell on the flop and ClockWyze failed to improve his hand, leaving Watkins to take the pot and the top prize of $45,927. ClockWyz took 2nd place and $31,618.
