‘AsMetzmagnyAs’ wins FTOPS XI Event #3

With a starting field of 593 players, it was AsMetzmagnyAs who came out on top of the $216 Stud Hi Event #3 of this years Full Tilt Online Poker Series. He also took home $27,503 for his win.

The chip count going into the final table was as follows:

The first of the final table players to leave was Prahlad "PrahladF" Friedman as he put his last 50,000 chips in against AsMetzmagnyAs. Neither player had anything until the final card was laid giving AsMetzmagnyAs a pair of eights. Friedman was out of the game in eighth place with $1,779 in prize money. The next player to be eliminated was Crushingly_Long, who was all in with four other players still in the hand. BeNzitO85 won the hand to take Crushingly_Long out in 7th place. Long won $2,609 in prize monies.

A little while later two players went out on the same hand, 0maxpower0and Berry Johnston were knocked out in 5th and 6th place, respectively, against AsMetzmagnyAs. At the end of the hand it was AsMetzmagnyAs’s full house that beat Johnstons flush and 0maxpower0’s pair of queens. And yet shortly thereafter it was AsMetzmagnyAs who sent home Chris ‘indariva’ Tryba home in 4th place with $8,064. Dylan ‘InvisibleEnigma’ Linde bowed out in 3rd place, another victim of AsMetzmagnyAs. Linde’s 3rd place finish won him $12,572.

Going into heads up action AsMetzmagnyAs had almost 1.4Million in chips while BeNzitO85 was just shy of 1Million. After several changes in the chip lead it came down to AsMetzmagnyAs winning with trip jacks and taking home the top prize of $27,503. BeNzitO85 took $18,087 for his 2nd place finish.
