‘Ramagem’ wins FTOPS XI event #2
The top honors in the 2nd event of this years Full Tilt Online Poker Series goes to ‘Ramagem’. ‘Ramagem’ beat out 1,427 other online poker players to win the $240 Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo game and takes $61,404 for that win.
Going into final table action the chip count looked like this:
gamefreak237 - 1,335,798 ramagem - 1,303,671 Bill "crazyhorse76" Slaight Jr. - 884,312 another_rack - 787,839 lauraj111 - 731,244 ray918273 - 667,156 Jason "OUEmoKid" Potter - 546,859 Chessmanrus - 518,365 FANTOMEX - 364,756
Lauraj111 was the first player eliminated from that final table as she went all in after being raised by ‘ray918273’. There was no low hand as Lauraj111 held A276 to Ray918273’s AA84 with a board of JQK78, so the aces of Ray918273 held up and Lauraj111 collected almost $4k for her 9th place finish. Next to go was Bill ‘crazyhorse76’ Slaight Jr, who went all in against Ramagem who ended up with trip deuces to but Bill out in 8th place.
Fantomex was next to leave in 7th place after his two pair couldn’t beat Chessmanrus’s full house. Fantomex took home nearly $8k for his finish. Going out in 6th place was ray918273, being beaten by ramagem’s A-5 straight.
With only five players left the action got a little quicker. Gamefreak237 went out in 5th place to earn just over $17k, followed a few hands later by the end of the day for Jason “OUEmoKid” Potter who took home $22,848 for his 4th place finish. Making it all the way to 3rd place was ‘another_rack’ whose two pair couldn’t hold up to ramagem’s full house. Another_rack collected $28,845 for 3rd place.
Going into heads up action it was Ramagem with almost a 4 to 1 chip lead over Chessmanrus. Ramagem continued to eat away at the chip stack of Chessmanrus until Chessmanrus was forced to put in his last quarter million chips. With no low hand on the last hand of the game, it was Ramagem’s three Kings that won him the game. Chessmanrus’s runner up finish earned him more than $38,000.
