Tournament to take place in The Desert on January 23 – 25

The desert’s richest poker tournament is back! The Coachella Valley Poker Championship at Spotlight 29 has earned the reputation of the richest and most exciting poker tournament of the year in the Valley, and its back to be better than before.

The tournament is set to take place from January 23 – 25 and feature 2007 World Series of Poker Champ Jerry Yang. Everyone is invited to join in on the fun to play No Limit Texas Hold’em for top cash prizes and a chance to win the title of Coachella Valley Poker Champion!

Tournament action gets underway on Friday, when players will battle down to the final table. On Saturday, the battle heats up again with players competing for a coveted seat at the final table. Sunday's climactic showdown features both of the final tables in exciting winner-take-all action.
The event takes place in Spotlight 29 Poker Room on January 23-25, 2009. Registration is available now at (760) 863-5153. Players are advised to register early to guarantee themselves a shot at the big money and the title of Coachella Valley Poker Champion. Entry fee is $900 + $90 + $10. Players can also win a seat at one of many satellite tournaments taking place now in the Poker Room.
