First Ever Caribbean Stud ETG Progressive Jackpot Hits
LAS VEGAS, Dec 10, 2008 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- TableMAX Gaming, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of TableMAX Corporation (Pink Sheets: TBLX), a developer of electronic table games, announced today the first ever Caribbean Stud(R) Poker electronic table game (ETG) progressive jackpot hit at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, California, on Sunday, December 7, 2008.
Darrell W., a loyal Fantasy Springs player and Palm Springs Snowbird, has been playing TableMAX's electronic version of the popular Caribbean Stud Poker since it's install on December 3. Lucky Darrell placed a $1 bet and chose to take advantage of TableMAX's proprietary side-bet, allowing him an opportunity to win the progressive. This nominal fifty-cent side-bet paid off in a big way, when he was dealt a Royal Flush, winning Darrell $25,259.74. "I've never played Caribbean Stud Poker live," Darrell stated, "but I saw the machines being installed and they piqued my interest. Once I started playing, I thought I had found a new game to play. But now, I know it's my favorite!" "The TableMAX games have been experiencing a lot of interest and play from our regulars immediately upon install," said Fantasy Springs VP of Casino Ops Lou Crescenzo. "We're happy to see the progressive jackpot hit so quickly, as it's generated even more interest in the games." Fantasy Springs new electronic pit is comprised of TableMAX's first full 4-system carousel. Versions of popular table games, Progressive Blackjack(R) and Caribbean Stud Poker, provide players a fun and relaxed community gaming experience through realistic graphics and digitally mastered sound. The TableMAX platform offers the lowest table game minimum bet in the Coachella Valley, with bets starting at $1. "We're very pleased to have a product which offers operators an enticing new game for their players, while providing them different ways to drive profitability in this challenging market through cost saving technology," Stephen Crystal, TableMAX CEO said. "We feel Fantasy Springs is one of the influential gaming properties in Southern California and to have them be a part of these two firsts marks the beginning of a great relationship." Market Watch
