4 must-visit poker rooms and casinos

Foxwoods Resort and CasinoMost areas have a limited number of card-rooms to play at, but certain destinations have an abundance; Vegas and Atlantic City come to mind. Here are my four favorite poker rooms in no particular order:

Foxwoods Resort and Casino - I have a sentimental attachment to Foxwoods, since it's where I honed my skills and have spent the most time. That said, Foxwood's new poker room is pretty nice! They have isolated it from the casino, and use special WPT chips. There is a ton of tables and limits to choose from, and it's always hopping.

Bellagio - This is a must-visit casino in general, but their poker-room is top-notch. I suggest playing there just to sit in one of their chairs! Just be careful you don't fall asleep in it.

The Bicycle Casino - As a flat out card-room, the Bike offers a huge assortment of poker games. They are generally battling it out with Foxwoods for most poker tables.

Casino Austria - I love this casino, actually a group of casinos spread around Austria. I lived in Berlin, Germany for close to two years and made many trips to Austria. When I was there the action was loose, and I'm simply a huge fan of European culture.
