Gogetech Joins Playtech Poker Network

Isle of Man-based online casino turnkey provider Playtech Limited has announced its fourth licensing agreement for Italy with land-based and virtual gaming firm Gogetech.

The Milan-based firm provides sportsbetting ‘white-label’ solutions to several national and international operators and has become the latest licensee of Playtech’s Italian ipoker network following in the footsteps of Sisal, Eurobet and SNAI. The agreement will see Playtech provide Cogetech with its entire portfolio of poker games in tournament form, which are now downloadable in a ‘play for fun’ mode to give players the opportunity to improve their strategies and hone their skills at no cost.

'This latest addition of Cogetech to Playtech's Italian ipoker network demonstrates that the company is capturing an ever more prominent position in the country and is committed to expanding its presence in regulated European markets,” said Mor Weizer, Chief Executive Officer for Playtech.

“We look forward to a long and productive partnership that will be mutually beneficial for both parties and to providing new and exciting gaming opportunities for Italian players.'

Playtech revealed that a ‘play for money’ mode is set for launch later this year, which would be fully integrated with Cogetech's online betting system.

'We chose Playtech over other providers because they are one of the leading players in global management platforms with a very strong and liquid poker network,” said Fabio Schiavolin, Chief Executive Officer for Cogetech.

“We look forward to working with them to provide all our customers with an exciting, reliable and continually evolving service that will provide the best possible player experience.'
