CayRock's Wednesday Night Poker tournament winner announced

Cayman Islands -- After eleven enthralling weeks of competition another series of 96.5 CayRock’s Wednesday Night Poker tournament has come to an end, yielding another grand prize winner of an all-expense paid getaway for two to Cuba.

Johan Neilson competed against approximately ten other hopefuls to take the title.

Hosted at the Treasure Island Lobby Bar between 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, each week listeners and poker fanatics came together for the love of the game plus the chance to win the grand prize – a trip to Cuba. The 11 June grand final comprised of winners from each weekly tournament.

“Poker on a Wednesday night is the ideal activity to break up the monotony of the working week whilst enjoying the camaraderie that the game generates,” said 96.5 CayRock’s Programme Director and Morning Show Host, Ben Maxwell.

“Not to mention the phenomenal grand prize up for grabs!”

“The tournament was enticing and I thoroughly enjoyed competing,” Mr Neilson said. “Coincidentally, I’ve recently just returned from a trip to Cuba and it was absolutely amazing – I am thrilled to have the opportunity to go back there again.”

There were weekly prize giveaways across the span of the promotion including complimentary bar tabs and a sunset dinner cruise aboard the Valhalla. There were drink specials each Wednesday night and 96.5 CayRock was present ensuring that things went smoothly and that everyone had a great time.
