South Florida: Fourth suspect charged in robbery of poker players

A fourth suspect was charged in the armed robbery of two people after they left the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood in March with big winnings, authorities said Wednesday.

Gerald Dumervil, 19, of Hollywood, was arrested Monday by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement on behalf of the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, said Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Teri Barbera.

Detectives think the suspects followed two winners in a casino poker tournament March 29 home to Wellington. They shot at them and chased them, ultimately stealing $25,000 in winnings, the Sheriff's Office said.

Three suspects were arrested May 31. Dumervil was arrested Monday and also charged with armed robbery and aggravated assault. He was being held at Broward County Jail until he could be transferred to Palm Beach County, Barbera said.
