World Poker Tour leaving Game Show Network?
Sources all over the internet are saying that the World Poker Tour will be leaving the Game Show Network.
Although GSN CEO David Goldhill says the network is in negotiations to televise "parts" of next season, it's hard to believe the WPT would accept that.
Then again, it might not have a choice.
WPT CEO Steve Lipscomb said he's already in negotiations with other networks in trying to find a new home, but other than ESPN, where could the WPT land?
It has fared well ratings-wise on both GSN and its first home, The Travel Channel, but both networks appear to be getting out of the poker business.
In other disappointing news, GSN hasn't renewed "High Stakes Poker" yet, either.
