Irish Poker Tour with Pro finishers

Several top European poker pros had final table finishes at this year's Irish Poker Tour Grand Final, which took place June 2-5 at the Citywest Hotel in Dublin, Ireland. Winners included Hendon Mob member Ram Vaswani, Mel Judah, and Julian Thew.

The €3,000 No-Limit Hold'em tournament boasted a total prize pool of €447,000 and a playing field of 161. Final table play lasted six hours.

First and second places were taken by Irishman Brendan Walls and Midlander Mohammed Shafiq, respectively. The players cut a 50/50 deal to split first and second prizes, with each player taking home €135,000. Walls was also awarded a trophy in addition to his prize money.
