Wings to hold second charity poker tournament at MotorCity Casino

The Detroit Red Wings will hold their second charity poker tournament of the season (their first was held on November 5th) at the MotorCity Casino:

February 8, DetroitRedWings.com: The tables are heating up for MotorCity Casino's Red Wings Charity Poker Tournament. Be part of the action on Monday, March 3 when the Wings ante up for charity in this Texas Hold'em format poker tournament.
For a $500 donation to the Red Wings Foundation, fans can test their skills going head-to-head with members of the 2007-8 Red Wings' team. The evening kicks off with a cocktail reception at 4:30 p.m., in Iridescence -- MotorCity Casino Hotel's AAA Four Diamond restaurant, where fans can raise the stakes and bid on select Red Wings' players to join their table during the event. The action fires up inside the Poker Room at 6 p.m.

"This promises to be an exciting evening for everyone, and an entertaining way for our fans to help us raise funds for the Detroit Red Wings Foundation."

Prizes will be awarded to the top 10 finishers of the tournament, including a grand prize trip for two with the team on Red Bird II to the March 25 game in St. Louis for the first-place finisher. The second-place finisher will receive a suite for a Red Wings' home game during the 2007-08 regular-season. The third-place finisher will receive four tickets to a Red Wings' regular-season game including a meet-and-greet session with select players following the game, and the fourth through tenth place finishers will receive an autographed Red Wings' jersey.
