Poker Run back in the mountains

FARMINGTON, Maine -- Join the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce for its 2nd annual FCCOC Fall Fun Run on Sept. 15 as organizers lead a group ride on a Poker Run throughout beautiful Franklin County with cash prizes awarded (Best Hand $500, Next Best Hand $300, Worst Hand $100).

The event is only $15 donation per person, with extra hands $5 each. Groups will leave the chamber parking lot between 9:30 and 10 a.m. The event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Afterwards, return for a cook-out (hamburgers and hot dogs with bottled water and soft drinks provided -- or bring your own beverage) and bike show with trophies for 1st and 2nd places in at least three categories as well as a Best of Show trophy awarded (people's choice voting). A $500 Harley Davidson gift card will be raffled off; tickets are on sale now.
