Craggy Mountain Poker Run coming May 28

California - The Siskiyou County Off-Road Riders (S.C.O.R.R.) is proud to announce their second annual Craggy Mountain Poker Run. The event is scheduled for Saturday May 28. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the ride starts at 11 a.m.. Fees are $15 for club members and $20 for non-club members. This Memorial Day week-end event will allow powersports enthusiasts to choose from either a beginner or intermediate level trail across USFS land. The designated trails snake through Siskiyou County’s historic gold mining country and includes scenic views of local peaks and the Klamath River. Helmets, spark arrestor and off road registration is required. Directions from Yreka: Take Hwy. 263 North to Hawkinsville-Humbug Road. Take Hawkinsville - Humbug Road to the Craggy Mountain Play Area. Signs will be posted. Refreshments will be available Saturday and a limited amount of primitive campsites are available nearby. Prizes will include $100 for first, $50 second and $25 for third place hand. Many door prizes from local businesses will be also be awarded.
