Gavin Smith bowls his way to WSOP seat

Gavin Smith was the lucky winner of the Wii bowling tournament several poker pros took part in with a World Series of Poker main event seat up for grabs.

Smith is well-known for his prop betting antics. Take a look at his series with Joe Sebok on RawVegas.tv and you'll see him losing several prop bets that include mechanical bull riding, eating and getting beat up by female kick boxers.

But Wii bowling turned out to be a sure thing Smith.

He and several other pros got together on Monday to play the game, each putting up $1,000 with the winner taking all to put towards the $10,000 buy-in for the WSOP Main Event.

Smith wrote a guest blog at Paul Wasicka's site, KwickFish.com, documenting his win.

Some of the other players involved were Wasicka, Bill Edler, Chris Bell, Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi, Jeff Madsen and Bodog Poker pros Josh Arieh and David Williams.

Wasicka spent some time last week tracking down what he figured must be the last Wii in all of Las Vegas in order to practice before the big event. It wasn't quite enough though, as he didn't advance to the final round.

Advancing were Gavin Smith, Jeff Madsen, Josh Arieh, and Michael Mizrachi, with Smith pooling his thousands of hours of experience playing the game to best them all and with the World Series seat.
