New stops on EPT Season 4 schedule

The World Poker Tour's glamorous cousin, the European Poker Tour, has released the new expanded schedule for its fourth season of globetrotting Hold'em.

Unfamiliar stops on the EPT map in Season 4 include tournaments in Barcelona, Spain, and Prague in the Czech Republic.

The Spanish event will kick off the season at the Casino Barcelona, where a maximum of 600 players can buy in to the championship for €7,700+€300 Aug. 28 to Sept. 21.

Next stop: Casino Victoria in London, where players pony up £5,200+£200 to compete from Sept. 25-29. From there it's on to the Grand Casino in Baden, Austria for a €7,600+€400 championship Oct. 7-10.

Oct. 30 to Nov. 3, it's the EPT Dublin at the Royal Dublin Society in Ireland to compete in a €7,700+€300 main event and after an extended Christmas break, it'll be time to get that tan up to snuff at the PokerStars.com Caribbean Adventure at the Atlantis Resort and Casino in the Bahamas Jan. 4-10. There, an unlimited number of players will pay $7,800+$200 to play in the tropics.

The EPT has yet to set the date for its new Prague event at the Hilton Hotel, but on the schedule it is sandwiched between the Caribbean Adventure and the German Open Feb. 5-9. The German tournament takes place in Dortmund at the Casino Hohensyburg for a €7,700+€300 buy-in.

Registering for the Feb. 19-23 Scandinavian Open in at Casino Copenhagen in Denmark will set players back 57,750+2,250 Danish kroner. Pay up the required 29,000+1,000 Polish zlotys and you're bought in to the Polish Open at the Hyatt Regency in Warsaw from March 11-15.

To wrap up the year in traditional fashion, the EPT will host its Grand Final tournament from the European pit stop of the fabulously wealthy - Monte Carlo, Monaco. The €10,000+€600 event will run cap-free at the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort from April 12-17.
