Chip Tree cuts down home game questions

In the all-too crowded world of poker novelties, another product has entered the fray. H&H Innovations recently launched its Chip Tree - a stand that takes the guesswork out of adding up your stack.

The Tree is essentially a value display made of clear plastic that showcases up to five different poker chips and fits nicely on any table, all but eliminating a player's need to ask how much each disk is worth during the game.

Values for the denomination chips range from 5¢ to $10,000, with the owner supplying five of his own colored chips to customize the product.

The standard Tree, which features five denomination chips and space for five pieces from your own set, is available by ordering online for $14.95.

The company also offers a collector's edition to house your favorite chips for $12.95, as well as a 30-piece Tree for $24.95.

With Texas Hold'em booming right now, the product is a great help to home games of all stakes, H&H innovations said in a release.

"The Chip Tree appeals to both novice and experienced players, particularly those who play in many games with varying stakes," said Chip Tree co-founder Timothy Hoot. "Response from players has been very positive."
