The bell has sounded on Round 3 of Everest Poker's Avalanche event and 20 players are advancing to the online tournament's $1 million finale.

On Jan. 27, the round's top 20 players earned $5,300 and a seat at the promotion's culminating event Sept. 17.

When the online finale wraps up on the site, the real action gets underway with the top 10 competitors winning a trip to play Texas Hold'em live at an undisclosed location.

To jump the queue, those with bankroll to spare can register for the monthly Round 3 satellites. The buy-in is $530+$30 or, if you're looking to head straight for the online Avalanche finale, a direct buy-in is $5,000+$30.
