Paradise Poker debuts new bounty tournament

Revenge can be oh, so sweet and hard to resist. Or at least Paradise Poker is hoping so, with a new bounty tournament that places a price on some of the site's top players.

Every Monday night, players will get a chance to take out some of the site's biggest winners. It's their chance to eliminate them - instead of being eliminated by them - with a total of $400 in bounty money at stake.

The tournament, called the Monday Night Takedown, debuted Monday with its $25 buy-in and $2,000 guaranteed prize pool.

The bounty players each week will be members of the Paradise Hit Squad, like Lee Biddulph (boon8) and Ingrid Nyman (lollo), both of whom became millionaires playing at Paradise Poker.

The person who eliminates them in the tournament will earn a bounty payment.

Aside from the direct buy-in, players can also win their way into the Monday Night Takedown through daily qualifiers with re-buys for just $1. The daily qualifier runs at 9:30 p.m. (GMT) with the top 10 players advancing to the Monday Night Takedown.

The money from the daily qualifiers goes toward the Monday Night Takedown as well adding to the total prize pool.
