Win your way onto 'Poker After Dark' at Full Tilt Poker

Tournaments begin Tuesday for players at Full Tilt Poker to win their way onto the "Poker After Dark" television show. The series will end with one player receiving a $25,000 prize package that includes a seat on the show.

Full Tilt Poker is currently the only poker site where players can win a seat on "Poker After Dark," which will be broadcast by NBC six nights per week starting Tuesday and features some of the world's top poker players.

Sit-and-go tournaments begin Tuesday and will run around the clock giving people a chance to win their way to the final qualifier. The top two finishers from the satellites will move on to the weekly Round 2.

The Round 2 tournaments take place Tuesdays at 10 p.m. (EST) or Saturdays at 3 p.m. (EST). If you want to skip the first round and start directly in Round 2, the direct buy-in is 100 poker points.

The top nine players in Round 2 will advance to the "Poker After Dark" qualifier.

There are two other ways to get into the final qualifier with absolutely no real-money cost. The first is a direct buy-in of 10,000 poker points. The second is to win your way through special 18-player sit-and-go satellites that cost 600 points.

So for only the cost of Full Tilt Poker points, one player can win the prize package which includes the $20,000 tournament entry and $5,000 in spending money. On the show, that player will play with well-known pros for a shot at $120,000.
