PokerStars.com turns five, adds Robin Hood

PokerStars.com is celebrating their fifth anniversary in a big way over the holidays, with over $500,000 in freerolls and bonuses on the table until Jan. 2. They've also announced a big addition to Team PokerStars - the "Robin Hood" of poker, Barry Greenstein.

Lots of big events are on tap for their anniversary celebration. Most notable among them: anniversary hands, with real money games stopped every one million hands and cash prizes up to $4,400 awarded to the players involved.

Two exclusive $25,000 freerolls are also on the schedule, with only players who have been with them since the beginning eligible, as a thank you.

Five $1,000 freerolls with 10 Frequent Player Point buy-ins and a $5,000 freeroll with a 50 FPP buy-in will also run each day, with, they say, a very good chance to find one or more Team PokerStars members in the field.

And if you knock out a Team PokerStars player, PokerStars will give you a free entry into their $215 Sunday Million tournament.

New to the Team PokerStars mix as well is notable pro Barry Greenstein, known for his World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets, his presence in some of the most legendary cash games of all time, and his penchant for donating his lucrative tournament winnings to charity.
