2014 WSOP Event #5 – Tuan Le Wins First WSOP Bracelet in Limit 2-7 Event

Tuan Le has done it! He won his first World Series of Poker Gold Bracelet by finishing first in Event #5, the $10,000 Limit 2-7 Triple Draw Lowball event. There were 120 players who would buy in to the first $10,000 event of the 2014 WSOP and three days later Le took down the last pot against Justin Bonomo.
These $10,000 WSOP event always attract big names and this event was no different with players like Todd Brunson, Doyle Brunson, Barry Greenstein, Eli Elezra and Phil Galfond buying in looking to get a piece of the $1.1 Million prize pool.

Only 12 of the original field advanced to Day 2 with the USA heavily represented at the tables, players remained also from France, England, Germany and Russia. Of those 12 remaining players 6 of them had already won a combined 9 WSOP Gold Bracelets.

As it got to heads up action between Le and Bonomo it would only take a few hours of play, and a dinner break for Le to come out on top. Congratulations to Tuan Le for his big win!
